Peter Gargone is the founder and CEO of n-Tier. With his deep technology background covering development, database design, server optimization and networking, Peter designed and built the firm’s core product offerings: Compliance Workbench and Control Workbench.
Beginning his career at Goldman Sachs as a developer and project manager, Peter has extensive experience with database design, server optimization and networking within the financial industry. He specializes in solving large and complex data challenges that firms face to improve functionality, uptime and scalability.
Prior to founding n-Tier, Peter was Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Investment Company, where he managed a team responsible for the firm’s back and middle office technology dealings. During his career at the firm, Peter was awarded the Lane Jacob Award, DLJ’s highest honor awarded to employees, as well as the DLJ Super Achiever Award in 2000.
Peter is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Computer Science.
As CFO at n-Tier, Geoff Love manages all financial and accounting activities as well as general support for the business. With over 30 years of experience in the securities industry at firms including Credit Suisse, Depository Trust Corporation and Deloitte & Touche, Geoff is an authority on a wide range of financial technology topics.
Prior to working at n-Tier, Geoff was managing director of operational infrastructure at Credit Suisse, where he managed the creation of and adherence to a $1 billion budget across staff, technology and clearing and settlement costs. Before that, Geoff was Chief Auditor at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Investment Company, where he gained deep experience in designing and testing financial controls to ensure reliability of financial records and statements.
Geoff is a graduate of the Wharton School and has an MBA from New York University in Finance and International Business. Geoff is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
As COO at n-Tier, Jeff is involved in all aspects of the business, overseeing sales strategy, business development and operations. He is responsible for identifying new use cases for the n-Tier platform, while engaging existing and prospective customers to meet their business requirements. Jeff works closely with all members of the organization to identify opportunities to further enhance and streamline processes as the company continues its rapid growth.
With 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jeff has held roles spanning across project management, product management and sales. Prior to working at n-Tier, Jeff was a senior member of the sales team at Fidessa (now a part of ION Group), the trading and investment management software and services company.
Jeff graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics
As Head of Client Implementation, Scott Rabjohn is primarily responsible for n-Tier’s regulatory and business operations. His focus is dealing with the delivery of large-scale, enterprise-wide projects concerning operational, market and regulatory risk management. Scott ensures that the company’s clients are leveraging n-Tier’s software offerings to their fullest potential.
Scott has spent over 12 years of his career in the financial services and technology industries. Beginning his career as a business analyst at RBC Dexia, Scott was responsible for the identification and development of desktop process improvements and solutions.
Prior to working at n-Tier, he held multiple roles at Macquarie Group. As Head of US Regulatory Operations & Supervisory Office, Scott worked extensively in Blue Sheets, CAT, OATS, Short Interest, Trade Reporting production, monitoring and daily surveillance programs. Before that role, he managed a Delta 1 Derivatives Middle Office team and the NY Operational Controls team.
Scott graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Economics.
Ian is the CRO at n-Tier. He has over 15 years of experience in the securities industry spanning broker-dealer regulation, compliance, and regulatory operations. Ian started his career with NASD Regulation (FINRA) and then worked in advisory compliance at several broker-dealers, including Kellogg Group, Knight, ConvergEx, and Macquarie before most recently serving as the Head of Regulatory Operations for MUFG Securities.
Ian has worked for three broker-dealers that utilize n-Tier’s Compliance Workbench for transaction regulatory reporting and/or Regulatory Operations solutions, including for CAT, OATS, Blue Sheets, TRACE, TRF/ORF, Short Interest, Rule 606, Rule 10b-10, and IIROC MTRS.
Ian is a graduate of Florida State University and holds the Series 7, 24, 55, and 63.
